Blog entry 1: Who am I? (min.100 words)

In this blog, I will post an example for you to follow. This example will be uploaded at the beginning of our session at the Lab. Remember that you have to post your entry but also comment on at least 3 of your classmates' blogs.
Who am I?
I'm Macarena Honorato and I'm an English teacher. I love teaching adults; I have been working as a teacher for about 6 years.
I was born in Santiago Chile. I am 33 years old. At the moment I am writig my thesis, I studied a Master in Education Major in English as a foreign Language at Universidad Central.
I love to travel! I have applied to 3 working holidays; USA, Canada and New Zealand.
Besides traveling, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and taking my dogs for a walk. One of my best friends started a very interesting project which is called “La Union”
The idea is to just relax and dance inside a circle. This is really nice, it is a kind of therapy. I am also a volunteer at "Fundación Honra" my cousin is the director. It focus on Gender equality and Intimate partner violence.
Well my favourite movie is Inception. The main actor is Leonardo DiCaprio. The movie is about a group of people that can go inside somebody else´s mind through his/her dreams and put an idea in his/her mind.
Talking about food, I really like lasagna and pastas in general.

ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! I think that it's pretty cool the fact that you have apliedd to 3 working holiday, I hope that one day I could do that. And I think that it is very interesting too that you have worked in a "build a bear workshop".

Wow! Did you knew that the movie "Inception" was influenced by a Japanese animation movie called "paprika"?
ReplyDeleteI am very interested in the "Fundación Honra", I did not know her or know that I could be a volunteer of her. Being a volunteer is a great experience that I have lived
